LUNA 7.1.2 is a minor release that includes bug fixes as well as a handful of new features.

Special Note: If you are on a previous version of LUNA v7x you must do a rebuild of the Library Index to activate the fix for numeric sorting.

 NEW Features:

  • Support for Shibboleth authentication in LUNA v7.1.2+
  • Support for processing 16-bit images.
  • Added additional search criteria in the Library's Advanced Search for Books, Audio, Movies and Miscellaneous Files.
  • Implemented a button to rebuild the LUNA Library Index in the Collection Manager.
  • Made adjustments to the Uploader's status feature to minimize unnecessary load on the system.


Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed numeric sorting in the Library.
  • In the Library, when searching on an authority field more than just the first page of results are available.
  • Fixed a bug in the Library whereby selecting the advanced search criteria "unlinked record" wasn't returning unlinked records.
  • Fixed a bug that was allowing users to save changes in the Library's Group Editor without having the "Save" permission assigned to them.
  • Fixed a bug to make the "Records" and "Media" search criteria work correctly in the Library's Advanced Search.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the "Save Search" link to disappear from view in the Library's Advanced Search panel when performing fielded searches starting with an "&".
  • Fixed several issues that caused facet searches to fail on values that contain the following special characters: ? or & or / or % or double quotes.
  • Corrected alt tag language for the up/down arrows in the templates and data schema sections of the Collection Manager.
