The information on this page is related to LUNA versions prior to 7.5.3.5 and is no longer supported with Google's conversion to Google Analytics 4. We have not yet found a replacement for this feature and welcome any feedback if you have.
LUNA v7.4.3 introduces enhancements to Google Analytics for better usage reporting in the LUNA Viewers, using Google Tags Manager. There are two dashboards available: LUNA Search Stats and LUNA User Action Stats. This page is intended to help you understand how use the Google Analytics dashboards & behavior reports to view usage statistics in LUNA.

There are two dashboards available: LUNA Search Stats and LUNA User Action Stats. Each one includes a set of widgets that give you a quick look at different types of user actions within a specified date range of your choosing. To get to the dashboards from the Google Analytics page for LUNA, click Customization to expand and then click Dashboards. This will open a list view of your dashboards. LUNA Search Stats and LUNA User Action Stats are the two available with the v7.4.3 upgrade, but you can also create your own, following the instructions provided in Google Analytics.

LUNA Search Stats
Types of Searching shows you a total count for each type of search users perform within a specified date range. Searches include Advanced Search and Keyword Searches.
Top Keyword Searches shows you a list view of the top 10 search terms or phrases users typed into the Keyword Search box and how many times they were performed within a specified date range.
Top Advanced Searches shows you a list view of the top 10 search terms or phrases users typed into the Advanced Fielded Search box and how many times they were performed within a specified date range.
Facet Filtering shows you a pie chart illustrating the percentage of Who, What, When, Where searches performed within a specified date range. It includes facet searches in thumbnail view and searches originating from the Browse Category page.
Facet Filtering Who shows you the top 10 values users clicked on from the Who category and how many times each value was clicked, within a specified amount of time. It includes facet searches in thumbnail view and searches originating from the Browse Category page.

LUNA User Action Stats
LUNA Viewer Pageviews shows you how many pages were viewed in the LUNA Viewer within a specified date range.
LUNAversal Viewer Pageviews shows you how many pages were viewed in the LUNAversal Viewer within a specified date range.
Browsed Collections shows you how many times the Browse All button was clicked for each individual collection. It is intended as a way to see how frequently your collections are being accessed within a specified date range.
Total Events by Category shows you the top 5 most popular event categories that users are clicking on in LUNA within a specified date range.
Most Popular Media Groups shows you the top 10 media groups accessed and how many times they were accessed within a specified date range.
Average Session Duration and Pages/ Sessions shows you how long a user stays on a page and how long the average user session lasts.
Image Export by Size shows you a donut chart of all image exports, divided into percentages based on exporting sizes 0-8, within a specified date range.
Type of Exports displays a total count for each type of media item exported within a specified date range. Image types include image, Book, Video, Audio and MISC (i.e. PDF files)
Exports by Credential shows you what percent of all exports are coming from a specific credential, within a specified date range.
Top Users or Credentials who Export shows you a top 10 most active users and/or credentials that export media items and the number of exports for each within a specified date range.
