Image Zooming

In addition to being able to view the thumbnails in the Library in 3 different sizes, you can also open a media item in a separate window and zoom into details. To zoom into the item, click on the icon in the lower left corner of the thumbnail:

The item will open in a new window. If it's an image, use the - and + to zoom into the image details. You can also show or hide the thumbnail navigator. These tools are helpful as you catalog the items.

Media Information

In the lower right corner of every thumbnail is an "i" icon, depending on what context you are in you will see different media information:

  • In the Independent Media Items Container the custom fields will display.
  • In a collection the record data and custom fields will display.
  • If the thumbnail has no data in either context (IMIC or Collection) only the image appears.
  • In the Record Editor, Media Item Editor, and Library Uploader the meta info (custom fields, EXIF, IPTC & XMP) will display.

Click on the drop down menu to expand and view the information.
