If you've added items to the LUNA Viewer using the MyUploads feature, they will appear here in the IMIIMIC. By default the items in the IMI IMIC are private to you, but you can make them available to other users by changing the access permissions. You can also choose whether the items can be edited and deleted by others.

When you are in context of the IMI IMIC you'll see all your items as well as any MyUploads items marked as public.
